Metamarca is a tool for data compilation, which has been created to process and merge findings of graphic components in the corporate image of local enterprises. This is an extended project for brand identity research, developed by the research group for graphic design of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. The tool facilitates the access of data obtained from local ventures to undergraduate and graduate students in the faculty, and support local enterprises to detect critical points of their corporate image in an overall view. This methodology has resulted from prior research projects developed by the research group with support of specialists from different professional fields; the investigation is based on brand identity in SMEs that operates in commercial activities in Medellin.
