As tecnologias da informação e da comunicaçãotornaram-se rapidamente parte de nossas vidas: como seressociais, temos passado a viver de espaços geográficos para espaçosvirtuais. A interação entre as pessoas também mudou, porvezes, para nos aproximar, e outras para nos afastar. As redes decomunicação permitem a criação de novas conexões, ligaçõese relacionamentos e também proporcionam novas formas decomunicação: em tempo real, instantânea, com informaçõesgeorreferenciadas que podem viajar ao redor do mundo em milissegundos.Esta nova era é a chamada “Era da Informação” edefinitivamente está mudando nossos padrões de comportamentoe de mobilidade. Este artigo analisa a questão: Como está atecnologia moldando a mobilidade em nossas vidas? Este tópicoestá dividido em três pontos principais: primeiro, o poder docrowdsourcing; segundo, o monitoramento e os sistemas geo-referenciadose terceiro, a automação e os telesserviços.Referências
